Why is intervention important?
FAQs

Early intervention is critical because the early years of a child’s life are a time of rapid brain development and learning. Providing support at this stage can:
Maximise a child’s developmental potential
Improve communication, social, emotional, and learning skills
Build confidence and independence
Support inclusion in family, school, and community life
Reduce the need for more intensive support later
By identifying and addressing developmental concerns early, children have the best chance to thrive and fully participate in everyday life.
